After the failed transfer move for Loic Remy, the Reds have reportedly turned their attention to one of PSG's attackers.

After the sale of Luis Suarez, Liverpool have been keen to quickly rebuild their squad, especially with their return to the Champions League this season.

They currently have England international Daniel Sturridge as their only key attacker and have added veteran forward Rickie Lambert from Southampton. Additionally, they still do have Italian Fabio Borini on their books, despite him spending last season away on loan.

However, they were dealt a blow when a move for Loic Remy fell through after the player reportedly failed a medical and the press in England has claimed that they have now turned their attentions to one of PSG's attackers.

Argentinian international Ezequiel Lavezzi is believed to be on their radar. The former Napoli man arrived two seasons ago for £24 million but has not been able to replicate his good scoring form from Serie A and like his colleague Edinson Cavani, may be seeking to try his fortunes elsewhere.

The Ligue 1 winners have been linked with Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria, but are fearful of violating FFP again to get Lavezzi's international colleague and will face stuff competition from Manchester United for the player's signature.
