Brazil's 2014 World Cup semi-final game against Germany was the worst 90 minutes in the history of the Selecao. The host nation fell to an embarrassing 7-1 loss at the hands of Joachim Low's rampant side.
Yes, 7-1!
In the space of six minutes, the European giants scored a whopping four goals past Julio Cesar and his abysmal defense, taking the game from 1-0 to 5-0, before two second half strikes from Andre Schurrle wrapped up the goalscoring fiasco.
The five-time World Cup champions had no response for the German side as constant defensive errors let Die Mannschaft players wreak havoc on Luiz Felipe Scolari team. Without Brazil's two top stars, Neymar and Thiago Silva, the South American national lacked flare and discipline against a clinical German side.

The host nation thus has to settle for bronze in the Third-Place Final, much to the disappointment of the fans who were hoping for a sixth trophy on home soil, but the means of their failure has the whole world shocked.
The final whistle blew an end to Brazil's misery as many of the players broke down in tears. This, however, sparked many trolls, memes, and online jokes as many took a jab at the Selecao after their humiliating loss.
