After it had been rumored for over a month, the news is finally official: Diego Costa will be a Chelsea player next season. The Blues have signed the Spanish player in an agreement costing up to £75M, including fees and salary.
The Brazil-born striker, will leave Atletico Madrid to join Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. Atleti’s forward will triple his salary as the London club agreed to pay him £150000 a week.

The 25-year-old exploded this season with the Rojiblancos, where he scored 27 goals in just 35 appearances. The striker scored a total of 43 goals in 93 games that he played for Atletico Madrid. Diego Costa stated recently:
“I've wanted to play in the Premier League for a while. Chelsea are one of the greatest clubs of the world so there are many factors that make you take a decision like this.”
