Mourinho makes some predictions about the World Cup and chooses Nigeria over Bosnia, and the Ivory Coast over Greece.

In a recent interview, Jose Mourinho was asked to make some predictions for the upcoming World Cup. With regards to group F, which sees Argentina and Bosnia-Herzegovina as favorites, the Portuguese instead tipped Nigeria to make it outside of the group. Chelsea’s boss said:

“Argentina has to be the group winner and what makes me decide for Nigeria is the fact that I have there one player there.”

The Special One did not hide behind strategy or technicalities and admitted that he is a very emotional person and, when it comes to soccer, he chooses to side with his friends.

Mou backs Nigeria, due to Mikel being a Chelsea player

When asked about group C, Mou had no doubt about the abilities of Ivory Coast. The African team can count on one of Mourinho’s favorite players and friend, Didier Drogba. In an explanation of why he backed the Ivory Coast, the Portuguese manager stated:

“I'm very emotional, I go always with my friends.”

Very emotional indeed: Mou has been caught several times crying during his professional career

Making it out of group C will prove to be extremely difficult for the Ivorians, as it includes the like of Colombia, Japan, and Greece.
