The Blues manager has predicted that the Black Stars will not be able to progress from the group stages due to the difficulty of their group.

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has offered his opinions regarding the World Cup.

The former Inter, Real Madrid, and Porto manager is currently Yahoo's resident analyst over the course of the tournament and now provided some insight into his thoughts, especially regarding Group G.

Nicknamed "The Group of Death" by fans and pundits alike, the 2014 World Cup's toughest group contains Germany, Portugal, Ghana, and the United States.

To make matters more complicated, Germany and Portugal are currently the no. 2 and no. 3 ranked sides in the world as per FIFA.

And, as a result, the 51-year-old believes that not only do Ghana have no chance of getting out of their group, but also has tipped Germany to finish top, followed by his native country in second.

Mission impossible? The Black Stars have a very tough task ahead of them in Brazil

"It is a very difficult group...I can say for sure nobody will finish with zero points, so one point here, one point there," he mused.

"[Still, I think] Germany [will be] first and Portugal runners' up."

The Black Stars will face off against the Stars and Stripes for the third consecutive World Cup and have successfully defeated the USA twice in their previous meetings.

This match will then be followed by difficult clashes with Portugal and Germany, both of which will decide if they can get throught to the next round as previously achieved in 2006 and 2010.
