Michael Sheehan Bradley, born on July 31, 1987, in New Jersey, is an American soccer player. He is the son of Bob Bradley, coach of Chicago Fire and later of the United States national team. Bradley is currently playing for Toronto FC in the Major League Soccer.

The American midfielder has always represented a solid block in the spine of every team he played for. Hard-working, skilled, and physical, Bradley gives his best in front of the defense, with discretion to go up. With AS Roma, Bradley scored a beautiful match-winner in a friendly against Liverpool, at Fenway Park in Boston in front of his fan. The American talent will be equally useful in Toronto’s surely successful future campaigns.

The young player made his splash in 2006 when he joined the Dutch team Heerenveen, currently coached by Marco van Basten. With 16 goals in 57 appearances, the midfielder gained some followers and moved to German Borussia Monchengladbach in 2008, where he impressed, again, with 10 goals in 76 matches. After a quick spell on loan at Aston Villa, Bradley joined Chievo Verona. After a successful season he joined AS Roma where the talent flourished, before going back home to the MLS as the hero that he is.

Bradley had a tremendously succesful last season with Roma, despite the injury

Due to the Roman team extremely deep midfield, Bradley could not find the same continuity he had the previous year. Later he also suffered an injury, while on national team duty, and came back with a crucial goal against Udinese, to keep Roma’s initial record of wins-in-a-row alive.
