Leo Aquina resides in Amsterdam and is an adept of Johan Cruijff's Dutch football heritage, which in Leo's eyes was thrown to shambles by the Orange squad that lost the World Cup Final in 2010. Being too young to remember 1974 and 1978, Leo cherishes the memory of the Dutch European title in 1988 and Ajax' Champions League victory in 1995 and being born in Nijmegen, NEC has a special place in Leo's heart.

As chief editor at the Infostradasports newsdesk Leo gained much experience in covering a variety of sports in the past. As a freelance sports writer Leo works for several Dutch papers, magazines and websites at the moment. Football and cycling are his main subjects. Leo covers the Dutch Eredivisie for Live Soccer TV.

In his leisure time Leo likes playing with his two children, cycling and playing football, reading books, listening to music, cooking and much more.
