Dedicated supporters of the Portuguese attacker made the UEFA president aware of their feelings on who deserves the Ballon d'Or prize by grabbing 61 balls and taking aim at Platini's house in Paris.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony on January 12 is fast approaching, coming this Monday, and Cristiano Ronaldo fans are most confident that the Portuguese star will win the prize in Zurich.

Scoring a whopping 61 goals during the 2014 calender year, winning the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Fifa Club World Cup, the Real Madrid attacker appears favorite to clinch the coveted award for a second consecutive year.

Fellow finalist Manuel Neuer guided his nation to World Cup victory and helped Bayern Munich to another Bundesliga title. Lionel Messi, in what was described as his worst year ever, led Argentina to the World Cup final, whilst scoring 58 goals, only three less than Ronaldo.

Nonetheless, Cristiano is still believed to be leading the race, with many pundits alike tipping him for the win. However, there are some who doubt whether he deserves to win the Ballon d'Or, and it is not only Xavi.

UEFA president Michel Platini, who has openly admitted that he feels a German should win the award, back in October hinted that Ronaldo would not be a worthy winner if he is named recipient of the Ballon d'Or, saying:

“The Ballon d’Or tends to go to a player who has performed exceptionally well at the World Cup, someone who won it. So this year it should be for a Germany player. It was always that way until 2010 when Leo Messi won despite having a fairly average World Cup, so nothing is for certain.”

Some really dedicated Ronaldo fans have now reacted. What did they do? They grabbed 61 balls, one for each of the 29-year-old ace's goals last year, and kicked them at Platini's house in Paris.

The attack on the UEFA president's house, which occurred at around 02:50 o'clock at night as shown in the video, was later uploaded onto social media before going viral. The footage shows proof that property damage was inflicted, with noise of a shattered window being heard in the background. Watch the video below.
