ANDRÉ GOMES HUG-A-THON! | PORTUGAL STAR SPREADS THE LOVE FOR CHARITY

Everton and Portugal midfielder André Gomes joined forces with Everton in the Community to host its first ever hug-a-thon with his efforts helping the charity's mental health fundraising campaign, The People’s Place. Over 200 Evertonians bought tickets for the event at Goodison Park with each person getting the opportunity to meet, and hug, Blues star Gomes in the setting of the home dressing room. The hug-a-thon raised over £2,000 for The People’s Place, with Gomes’ efforts helping Everton in the Community reach £100,000 of its overall one-million-pound fundraising target to develop and build a purpose-built mental health facility in Liverpool 4 offering help and support to anyone in need. We'll offer fans real insight into life at Goodison Park, USM Finch Farm and on the road with the Blues.
