Milan Lalkovic stepped up his return from injury, playing 90 minutes for Pompey Reserves against Bristol City in the Central League Cup. The game may have ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Blues but the sight of Lalkovic completing a full game for the first time in six weeks was more encouraging than the result.
