Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has explained why he left his side's Tuesday training session fuming. The Italian manager has denied that the bust-up between David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuain was what attracted his reaction but, instead, blamed the media.
The two Chelsea stars were pictured in a face-off after Luis aggressively threw his arm towards Higuain's face. Moments after a brief confrontation between the pair, an animated Sarri was seen heading for the dressing room, throwing his to the ground and kicking it in the process.

Earlier on Wednesday, a spokesperson from Chelsea cited that the fracas between Higuain and Luiz had nothing to do with Sarri's reaction. Prior to the clash with Arsenal, the Blues head coach also backed the claim by insisiting that his vexation was sparked by the presence of the numerous media personnel.
He told BT Sport: "I think that you were not able to understand yesterday. If my players are really very aggressive in training i am happy, not disappointed.
"I was disappointed because we wanted to try out solutions on set pieces. But after 50 mins of training the camera were there.
"So we were disappointed for the situation not for the players."
