Javier Mascherano has always stated his love for Liverpool, but maybe that wasn't the way he wanted to show it.
During the International Champions Cup match between Liverpool and Barcelona, the Argentine midfielder stole some headlines after giving the Reds a two-goal lead shortly after the beginning of the second half thanks to an own goal.
As Sadio Mane dribbled past a Blaugrana defender, Mascherano tried to stop Jordan Henderson's shot from going in. Nevertheless, his attempts were useless due to the fact that he ended up sending the ball into the back of his own net.

My wife has taken the kids
Second goal was actually a Mascherano own goal. All three goals have come from #LFC pressing the ball
