Lionel Messi has been experiencing a rough few weeks at Barcelona. The four-time Ballon d'Or winner has come under fire for below par performances against Atletico Madrid and Granada with both games ending in losses for the Catalan side. And the most recent one, a Copa del Rey final loss to bitter rivals Real Madrid, has brought a lot of unwanted attention upon the Blaugrana ace's poor showings of late.
And now a “Barcelona fan” has posted a video of himself insulting Lionel Messi as they returned back home from their Copa del Rey final defeat to Real Madrid at the Mestalla, a game which saw an abysmal performance from the Blaugrana number 10. The fan apparently calls the Argentine star a “fool,” saying he needs to take an energy drink because he “walks less than Pinto.” Messi responded by stopping and staring down the fan for a while before the Champions League winner was eventually ushered away by security.
