Intense scenes took place during the game between Cádiz and Barcelona, as one of the fans inside the stadium had needed medical assistance due to an alleged heart attack.
The game was entering its final stretch with Barcelona leading two-nil, when referee Del Cerro Grande noticed a turmoil in the stands. The ref decided to notify the doctors to try and help the fan and decided to put the game on hold.
Things got even more tense when Cádiz's goalkeeper Jeremías Ledesma was seen rushing to his goal line with a defibrilator. He proceeded to toss it to fans in the stands so they could help the person in distress.

Another major moment had Cádiz's player José Mari helping medical staff take a stretcher to the stands to help the fan.

Players were kept on the pitch for nearly 20 minutes before the referee decided to send everyone to the dressing rooms. The team's official Twitter feeds kept fans informed of the incident as it developed.

The players head back to the locker room until the situation is resolved, but the game is not yet suspended.

The situation was sorted out after thirty minutes, with the person that suffered the alleged heart attack being stabilized and carried out of the stadium in an ambulance.
