Although they are comfortably establishing themselves as the top team in Italy, Juventus have quite a ways to go to repeat that same feat on the continental front.

The Bianconeri, who made it to the quarter-finals of last year's Champions League before being defeated 4-0 on aggregate by Bayern Munich, failed to repeat that feat this year by a long margin.

Rather, they were sent packing after a disappointing showing in the group stages and now will hope to redeem themselves by winning the Europa League, with the final set to take place in Turin in May.

Of course, the club's directors aspire to turn the club into a serious contender in the continent's premier competition and view participating in the Europa League as just a minor setback.

Juventus have been linked to a host of some of Europe's players to bolster their attacking options, with the likes of PSG's Jeremy Menez and Bayern's Mario Mandzukic on their radar.

However, as they have a surplus of attackers on their roster, they will be keen to dispense with some of their personnel before making a move for anyone else.

Mirko Vucinic has been long linked with a move away from Turin, with the Montenegrin set to move to Inter this past winter, only to see the move fall through. However, Arsenal have been long mooted as a possible destination for the ex-Roma man.

Finally departing? Vucinic looks certain to be leaving the Turin giants this summer

Another that is absolutely certain to be no longer in a Bianconeri jersey come next season is Fabio Quagliarella. The 31-year-old's days are numbered as he was excluded from the Europa League squad list and Lazio is rumoured to be keen on signing him this summer.

Unwanted: Quagliarella has essentially been banished to the reserves this season

A third attacker that may be on his way out is Sebastian Giovinco, with the former Parma man, known as formica atomica (Atomic Ant) due to his small stature, finding playing time hard to come by this season. Striking duo Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente are often preferred by Antonio Conte, and the signing of Pablo Osvaldo on loan has pushed the 27-year-old further down the pecking order.

To stay or not to stay? Giovinco's future with the Scudetto-holders looks uncertain

Juventus aren't only planning a shake-up in their attacking department, as both defender Federico Peluso and midfielder Simone Padoin, neither of whom appear to have impressed coach Antonio Conte, could also find themselves plying their trades at new clubs next season.
