The Bianconeri battle with Catania at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday with the clear intention to inch closer towards back-to-back Serie A titles.

Juventus understand that they have everything in their favour to retain the Scudetto this season, as they are back on track in the league after a number of positive results, including last weekend's 1-1 draw away to closest competitors Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.

The Italian champions currently lead the Serie A with 59 points from 27 games, six points ahead of second-placed Napoli and eleven points ahead of third-placed AC Milan.

After a frustrating month, where they lost numerous points, Juventus appear to be back to their very best, and their UEFA Champions League 2-0 victory over Celtic midweek was clear evidence of this, even if they weren't provided with such a difficult challenge against much inferior opponents.

With the European calendar empty, at least for now, Juventus will have the opportunity to focus all of their energy solely on the domestic scene, and this will surely boost their chances of moving closer towards glory.

Juventus, who beat Catania 1-0 when the sides met earlier in the season, have a number of selection concerns, as no less than five players are out injured, which includes Martin Caceres, Simone Pepe and Nicolas Anelka.

Meanwhile, Chilean international Arturo Vidal, who scored the winner in the reverse fixture, is suspended, meaning that Paul Pogba will retain his place in the starting eleven.

Despite grabbing Juve's goals in the win over Celtic, Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri will be replaced by Sebastian Giovinco and Mirko Vucinic in the attack.

Rivals Catania put on a fine display in their unfortunate 3-2 defeat against Inter last weekend, and after taking a look at their mistakes in that game the side will be hoping to pull off an upset at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday.

What reduces their chances of achieving this, however, is that Argentine attacking players Gonzalo Bergessio and Pablo Barrientos have been ruled out through injury. Another loss will be that of Nicola Legrottaglie, who continues to serve a suspension.
