Jorge Jesus and Vitor Pereira will put their managerial and tactical skills to the test in Sundays Classico at the Estadio da Luz.

Sundays match will feature two different, yet very similar coaches. Both Jorge Jesus and Vitor Pereira are Portuguese, but they have both taken different roads to get to where they are today.

More often than not, it is said that current form is thrown out the window in matches of this caliber. But, regardless of their form, the managers decisions also have a big impact in the outcome of the match. From poor defensive tactics to underestimating the opponent, in a match this important, fans don't care how you do it, they just want the victory.

The Benfica manager is 14 years older than Vitor Pereira and has spent more time in the world of football, but that doesn't always mean you are better. With both these managers sharing a very similar attitude on the sideline as well as off the pitch, who has the upper hand heading into Sundays match?

Jorge Jesus

In his fourth season with Benfica, Jorge Jesus gets to prepare himself for yet another heated battle with Porto. A match that is always entertaining for those who watch, while those who support either club are a nervous wreck. The history, the magnitude of the match and just the environment in the stadium are just a few reasons why this rivalry is so special.

Whether he is gesturing from the sideline, constantly feeding himself pieces of gum or even if he is pacing up and down the sideline to convey messages to his players, Jesus lives and breaths for moments like these.

Known for being stubborn, Jesus' options for the starting XI will be questioned before kick off, but if the result turns out to be positive, those doubts will quickly go silent. But, as we all know, if that result is to not be as appealing, fans and analysts will certainly have a word to say.

Arrogant could be another word to describe him, but others may look at it as confidence in himself and his squad. The manner in which he speaks before and after a match is not always what fans prefer, but in the end, thats what makes him different. Just as Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo are in a love and hate relationship with the football world due to their attitude, Jorge Jesus has managed to do the same in the domestic league.

For this match, the pressure will be on Jorge Jesus and his squad as they are currently first in the Portuguese League and a victory could help them distance themselves from Porto.

With just one victory against Porto at home in the Portuguese League since his arrival at the club, Jesus, the Benfica president as well as the Benfica fans will be expecting a victory on Sunday. Given Benfica's current form and playing at home, the hosts may well enter the match as favorites, but those odds mean absolutely nothing.

Apart from the starting XI, Jorge Jesus will have the upper hand when it comes to experience. The Portuguese manager has enjoyed five domestic titles in his managerial career, with four of them coming with Benfica. His very first title came in 2008 with Braga as they won the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Along with those five titles, Jesus has managed 13 clubs in a span of 23 years.

His winning percent sits at an impressive 69% with Benfica, while he has also enjoyed a beautiful attacking style of play with a +234 goal difference. Jesus will be hoping his squad can help lead him to his 126th victory with Benfica in his 183rd match as the Aguias head coach.

Will Jesus add another hash mark to his win column, leaving his bitter rivals six points back although they have a match in hand? Or will Benfica fans have to endure yet another complicated and frustrating match?

Vitor Pereira

The 44 year-old Portuguese manager took over at Porto as head coach when his mentor Andre Villas-Boas packed his bags and moved to Stamford Bridge. The duo enjoyed a stellar season with the Dragoes as they won the Portuguese League, Portuguese Cup and the Europa League all in the same season.

Despite AVB's departure, Porto President Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa was quick to not only appoint Vitor Pereira as the new manager, but he also raised his release clause. The former right hand man of AVB would now have his fourth stint as a head coach for a Portuguese side. He had previously spent time at Sanjoanense, Espinho and Santa Clara.

Just as Jorge Jesus has been dubbed as arrogant, Vitor Pereira isn't far from that. Apparently, arrogant is the new confident when it comes to the world of football.

Whether he chooses to be arrogant or he prefers to take the humble approach, all that matters is that since AVB left the club, Pereira has done a descent enough job with the Portuguese Champions.

He led his side to yet another Portuguese title in his first season as the head coach, and he also claimed the Portuguese Supercup in 2011 and 2012. Not bad for a manager that many Porto fans as well as neutral fans had doubted.

This season, his side remains in contention for the title and they are the only Portuguese side to have qualified for the Knockout Stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Even with the success that he has had since taking over, many fans are still quick to put him down, but the truth is, he continues to keep this Porto side competitive and hungry for more titles. At the young age of 44, Pereira is going to have a long career ahead of him, so his hunger to win titles is just going to grow.

Last season, Pereira's side defeated Benfica 2-3 at the Estadio da Luz for the Portuguese League with goals from James Rodriguez, Hulk and a late winner from Maicon. He then returned to Lisbon for the League Cup just a few weeks later and he saw his side lose 3-2. Mangala and Lucho Gonzalez were the scorers for Porto.

With his winning percentage at 68% since taking over at Porto, Pereira won't consider himself inferior to Jorge Jesus and he has only been managing for a total of eight years.

Can Vitor Pereira lead his side to his second victory at the Estadio da Luz in his 70th match for Porto? Having to do it without Colombian star James Rodriguez won't be easy, but having signed Russian sensation Izmailov from Sporting earlier this week, Pereira will still have some notable options for Sundays match.
