Ahead of their visit to Siena, the coach admitted that the Rossoneri will have to pray for a miracle to win back-to-back league championships.
Italian champions AC Milan confront Sunday's Serie A clash with Siena knowing that they are in a must-win situation, because anything less than the three points would practically hand the Scudetto to league leaders Juventus.

Milan trail their rivals by just three points, but with only a handful of games left to play this season, the Rossoneri can't afford any more slip-ups.

Massimiliano Allegri, the coach of Milan, understands that the title isn't in his team's hands any longer, but as a mathematical possibility still exists he has no plans of relinquishing the title.

"We are still in the running for the title and it pleases me to know that we are. It definitely depends on Juve but a victory tomorrow will keep the door open," he declared to reporters during Saturday's pre-match press conference.

Milan face a significantly more difficult closure to the season than Juventus, in relation to the clubs which they still have to play against, and due to this they simply can't afford to drop any points on their visit to the Montepaschi Arena.

Allegri, who is unlikely to remain in his post next season, isn't concerned about his future, but of the present of his side.

"It is difficult to judge how I have done, the club and the media will have to do that. My worry is facing these last four games in the best way possible, starting tomorrow at the Franchi. It will not be easy because Siena are in form and they are close to the number of points they reached last season," he affirmed.

Finally, he voiced his opinion about why Milan currently find themselves in this situation, when not too long ago they held a four-point advantage over Juventus.

"We have dropped off since being knocked out of the Champions League although we bounced back up until Easter despite the numerous injuries we had. We struggled a bit but that does not mean that we should stop playing to win and keep the pressure on Juve.

"I don't want to bore everyone with illusions and go on about what has happened. It seems difficult for Juventus to drop points from the way they are playing but anything can happen in soccer and we have to go to Siena in search of the three points, so that Juve cannot relax," he concluded.

When Milan met Siena earlier in the season, the Rossoneri cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory at the San Siro, courtesy of strikes from Antonio Nocerino and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
