The Partenopei will be desperate to pick up a positive result that would steer them inches closer towards Champions League qualification.
Edinson Cavani is convinced that Napoli can put an abrupt end to Juventus' impressive 29-game unbeaten run, when the teams meet in what is expected to be an action-packed encounter at the Juventus Arena on Sunday.

The Uruguayan scoring-machine has been in sensational form for Napoli in recent weeks, and believes that his side have what it takes to cause an upset.

"It is always important for Neapolitans to play against Juve, and it is also important for me," said Cavani. "Juve haven't lost until now but we hope to beat them."

Cavani, who has scored 19 goals in the Serie A this season, also referred to his team's clash with Catania last weekend, when they surrendered what seemed to be a comfortable two-goal lead to draw 2-2.

"Against Catania we lacked experience to obtain the three points. But we can continue to improve," he affirmed.

Napoli, who are in fourth place of the Serie A, will move a step closer towards qualification for the UEFA Champions League with a win over Juventus.

The Partenopei are unbeaten in their last five games against Juventus, and were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw by the Bianconeri when the teams met at the Stadio San Paolo earlier in the season.

The two teams will also lock horns in what has the potential to be a mouthwatering final of the Coppa Italia in May.
