The South American Confederation of Football (CONMBEBOL) and FIFA have warned Venezuela, as the new law project could lead to a "compromising interference of the government" in the Venezuelan Football Federation.
The National Assembly of Venezuela is discussing the drafting of a law that could have a great impact on the Vinotinto's future in football. The Venezuelan government ratified a committee that will explain the real approach of the law, while the Minister of Sports declared that the organisms must have reacted to "one of the many drafts that are known extra-officially".

In fact, the Venezuelan Assembly confirmed that they "are still working on the project, there is nothing as a 'new law'". But the conflict reaches a turning point exactly one week after the International Olympic Committee made the same warning to the Venezuelan Football Federation.

FIFA and CONMEBOL believe the new law would give extraordinary powers to the Venezuelan government to intervene into the VFV. Back in 2005, Venezuela was involved in a controversy with FIFA that was close from disqualifying los Vinotintos from many international competitions, as the Venezuelan government wanted to annul a presidential election in the VFV.

I believe it's only natural to assume that both FIFA and CONMEBOL will delay any punishment for at least three weeks. What's your opinion on this?
