The leaders of the Eastern and Western Conference will collide on Saturday night as the Los Angeles Galaxy play host to the New York Red Bulls.
The Galaxy will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 2-1 home loss to FC Dallas, while the Red Bulls have won their last three games by a combined score of 8-0.

Superstar trio Thierry Henry, David Beckham and Landon Donovan will all be playing in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

Other form teams in action include the Columbus Crew, who will be looking to extend a six game unbeaten streak when they play host to Seattle Sounders FC. Chivas USA will be looking for their third straight win when they travel to face Real Salt Lake.

At the other end of the scale, Toronto FC will be looking to extend a six game winless streak when they play the Houston Dynamo, while the Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps FC will face off with both teams looking for only their second win of the season.
 

D.C. United will play host to the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday night with both teams in opposite form.





United will be looking to avoid their third straight defeat, while the Sounders will travel east looking for their third straight win.





United coach Ben Olsen could make defensive changes, after United conceded four goals in each of their last two defeats. Junior Carreiro and Devon McTavish are injury doubts for United, while midfielder Branko Boskovic is doubtful with a knee problem.





Forward O’Brian White is ruled out for the Sounders, while Steve Zakuani is a long term absentee after his horrific leg break.



The Houston Dynamo will be looking to extend a six game unbeaten streak when they play host to the defending MLS Champion Colorado Rapids on Wednesday night.





Houston hammered D.C. United 4-1 last time out, while Colorado ended a three game losing streak last weekend when they drew 1-1 with the Chicago Fire.





Calen Carr and Danny Cruz are ruled out for Houston, while Jermaine Taylor is doubtful with a foot injury. Rookie Will Bruin will lead the Dynamo attack after netting a hat-trick in the win over D.C. United.





Macoumba Kandji is sidelined with a knee injury for Colorado, while striker Conor Casey is questionable with a hamstring strain.



The Portland Timbers will defend their unbeaten home record when they play host to the Philadelphia Union on Friday.





The Timbers won 1-0 last time out to hand Real Salt Lake their first defeat of the season. The in-form Union have only lost once this season, and can move into top spot in the Eastern Conference with victory.





Philadelphia coach Peter Nowak has taken special measures this week to try and nullify the home field advantage of the Timbers. Nowak had the Union train indoors as he believed it would best replicate the conditions his team will face in Portland. “I’m worried about the pitch because it’s a little bit too small, and when you watch games when they play at home, it’s like pinball,” Nowak told the official MLS website.





Bright Dike and Eddie Johnson are ruled out for Portland, while goalkeeper Adin Brown should shake off a hamstring problem in time to play.





Jordan Harvey is suspended for the Union, while defender Danny Califf is expected to recover from illness in time to play.



Chivas USA will be looking for their third straight win when they travel to face Real Salt Lake on Saturday.





Chivas will be in buoyant mood after beating the New England Revolution 3-0 last time out, while Salt Lake will be looking to bounce back from losing their first game of the season 1-0 at the Portland Timbers last weekend.





Defender Robbie Russell is questionable for Salt Lake, while Alvaro Saborio and Will Johnson are listed as probable.





Tristan Bowen, Blair Gavin and Paulo Nagamura are all ruled out for Chivas, while Jimmy Conrad is questionable due to concussion.


Toronto FC will be looking to end a six game winless streak when they play host to the Houston Dynamo.





Toronto lost 3-0 to Seattle last weekend, while the Dynamo’s good run was brought to an end with a 2-1 midweek defeat to the Colorado Rapids.





Elbekay Bouchiba is ruled out for Toronto, while midfielder Gianluca Zavarise is questionable with a leg problem.
