Guardiola wants to keep his perfect record as finalist as Barcelona takes on Real Madrid at the Mestalla.
It's the first time Real Madrid makes it to the final of the Copa del Rey since 2003, when David Villa's Real Zaragoza denied Merengues' attempt to lift the Spanish Cup. Real Madrid's coach wants to secure the title to keep alive the hopes of repeating last year's success, in which Mourinho claimed three titles with Internacional.

Pep Guardiola returns to the Mestalla, where he claimed his first title with Barcelona, the Copa del Rey itself, by soundly defeating Athletic Bilbao 4-1 back in 2008.

Guardiola's winning streak remains intact, as he's won consecutively the Champions League back in 2009, the Spain's SuperCup, Europe's SuperCup and Fifa's Club World Cup. In 2010, Barcelona defeated Sevilla to claim a second consecutive Spain's SuperCup.

Guardiola's 100% efficiency will be defied by Mourinho's Merengues, hungry for the Spanish crown after so many years without wearing it.

Blancos' coach Jose Mourinho has a wide experience as a finalist, having fought in six different finals with both Porto and Chelsea, and four with Internacional. A 70% success speaks for itself (Mourinho lifted 11 titles out of those 16 finals), and as Real Madrid's General Manager Jorge Valdano declared earlier this week, "Mourinho knows how to play a final".

Guardiola might not have the same experience as the Portuguese coach, but he has nevertheless demonstrated the bond between himself and Barcelona is a strong one.

The last time Mourinho and Guardiola took on each other (without considering La Liga's last two Clasicos) , the Portuguese eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League, advancing to the final where they defeated Bayern Munich and claimed the title.

Mourinho is one of the three coaches that have managed to claim two Champions League with two different teams. One year before Jose Mourinho claimed the three titles with Internacional, it was Guardiola who lead Barcelona towards its first treble in all history by claiming the Copa del Rey, the Champions League and La Liga.

Let's not forget Barcelona celebrated a sound victory in the first half of the Spanish League, when Guardiola's Blaugranas overwhelmed Real Madrid and celebrated a memorable 5-0 victory.
