The Australian began life in the Women's Super League in lovely fashion.

Despite signing for Chelsea back in November, Sam Kerr had to wait until January to make her debut with her new Women’s Super League side. While the Australian superstar failed to make the scoresheet, the announced herself with a brilliant assist on Sunday.

The former Chicago Red Stars' goalscoring machine was thrown straight into Chelsea’s starting lineup for their weekend clash with Reading. The London giants won 3-1 but it was a moment of magic from Kerr that turned things around after going 1-0 down after 15 minutes.

The Aussie ace set up Bethany England for the equalizing goal in an exquisite manner, executing a back-heel pass to find the English forward. Check it out in the tweet below.

Sam did have a wonderful opportunity to score in her first game after 90 seconds but unfortunately sent her shot over the bar. The 26-year-old, who admitted to being nervous and rusty after the game, made up for that miss and will likely score her first goal anytime soon given her record in front of goal.
