After three games sans a win, Leicester will hope to get back to winning ways as they face West Ham in their last game of 2019.

Preview: West Ham vs Leicester City

Leicester come into this game winless in their last three games, and that includes a heavy 4-0 drubbing by league leaders Liverpool. Many had hoped that Brendan Rodgers's reunion with his former side would be a more evenly-contested affair, but the Foxes were no matches for the Reds, who ran rampant and absolutely humiliated Leicester in a one-sided match from start to finish.

Prior to that, Leicester were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City in another major blow to their confidence. That's despite having a really strong season in which they've managed to force their way into the top four and wedge themselves in between City and Liverpool to stay in second spot, but have things started to peter off? They were held to a surprise one-all draw with Norwich, before posting back to back losses to fellow top four sides Manchester City and Liverpool, and now will be desperate for a result against West Ham in their final game of 2019.

As for West Ham, they find themselves just one point above the drop zone and have lost three of their last five games. They'll be hoping to avoid losing a fourth straight home game as they will want to avoid matching a rather unwanted record - the last time they lost four in a row on home turf was in January 2006.

Team news: West Ham vs Leicester City

West Ham: Aaron Cresswell is out due to a ban. Jack Wilshere misses this game as a result of a groin injury, while Winston Reid still isn't match fit. Both Lukasz Fabianski and David Martin are continuing their recoveries from respective injuries.

Leicester City: The visitors have no new injury worries, but it's likely that Rodgers will mix things up due to the hectic fixture list. Thus, fans could see people like Kelechi Iheanacho, Ayoze Perez, and Hamza Choudhury all feature in the starting XI.
