The Belgian shot-stopper may not feature against La Liga's sensation due to the same problems that saw him leave the UCL clash against Brugge.

Zinedine Zidane may not be having the best of times at Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League games, but he is surely trying to keep the team's unbeaten form in La Liga. With that in mind, the French boss will need to change one of his frequently used players, not only due to his dubious performances, but also because he is sick.

That player is none other than Thibaut Courtois, who had to be subbed off from the game between Los Blancos and Brugge last Tuesday due to a gastric problem. Apparently, the Belgian ace has not been able to recover from that problem, and Zidane is ready to leave him out of the squad, with Alphonse Areola and Diego Altube taking over as the team's goalkeepers.

The player did not join the rest of his team-mates for Thursday's training session, which practically rules him out of the clash against Granada. Surprisingly, fans reacted with joy after the news broke out, mainly because some believe that Courtois is not the right man for the job, and they have been quite outspoken about it every time the footballer touches the ball when he plays at the Bernabeu.

Marco Asensio, Ferland Mendy and Nacho were the team's other absences during the aforementioned training session, which hints that these four players will not be part of the squadthat faces La Liga's second best team this season.
