The French youngster had a bit of a 'moment' with his wantaway attacking partner.

Kylian Mbappe appeared to have shove Neymar out of PSG's team photo in a footage that has emerged after Saturday's Trophee des Champions triumph. The latter was unavailable as his side completed a comeback victory against Rennes.

With just 13 minutes into proceedings, Paris Saint-Germain was stunned by the underdogs with striker Adrien Hunou grabbing the opener. The quest for the turnaround was ushered in after Kylian Mbappe equalised in the 57-minute. Angle Di Maria subsequently delivered the sucker punch with a superb long-range free-kick in the 73rd minute.

With celebrations underway on the pitch, Neymar - who carried over a suspension from last season for punching a fan in his last game - descended from the stands to join the rest of the team. The 27-year-old Brazilian star was apparently pulled in to the merry-making by midfielder Marco Verratti but was last pictured being pushed away by Mbappe while the team were posing with the trophy.

The seriousness of the Frenchman's gesture remains quite ambiguous considering he recently iterated his desire to play alongside the Neymar. Meanwhile, Spanish newspaper SPORT claimed on Barcelona and PSG are now at 'total war' although an imminent bid is expected to arrive from to former in the coming days.

As per the publication, Barccedil;a could try to sign its ex-star in the same manner as PSG signed Kylian Mbappe in order to avoid FFP (Financial Fair Play) officials breathing its neck. The plan is potentially sign Neymar on an initial loan deal with a high loan fee with the option to buy him next summer for a lesser fee.

In retrospect, Saturday's win over Rennes was a historic one for Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 champions triumph at the Shenzhen Universaide Sports Centre made them the most decorated teams in Trophee des Champions history.

The capital club has now secured the title on eight occasions since the competition was birthed.
