Barcelona's vice president shared light on the Brazilian ace's reasons to push for a transfer back to Camp Nou Stadium.

Neymar may be pushing hard to seal a transfer to Barcelona, but the effort is only being made by his inner circle.

Speaking in a press conference, vice president Jordi Cardoner gave a few details on the alleged transfer which would see the most expensive player in the world making a shock comeback to the Camp Nou. According to Cardoner, the club is yet to make a move to sign the wingman, contrary to what has been published about negotiations and alleged deals reached.

"The right thing to say is that Neymar wants to return to Barcelona, but the club is not worried about signing him. This topic is not on our table. There are some uncertain comments about how we have already signed Neymar, we have not signed anyone, and we have not been in touch with him," Cardoner said about Neymar's alleged deal.

The Blaugrana vice president also revealed that Neymar has some apologizing to do if he wishes to play for the Spanish giants one more time.

"There were things that happened when he decided to leave that did not go down well among fans and team members. There are some issues we have to work out before thinking about a transfer," Cardoner added.

Last, but not least, Cardoner compared Neymar's situation to those players who left the club but ended returning to it. Even so, Cardoner repeated that the Brazilian ace needs to explain the circumstances which led to his transfer away from the club.

"I'm not surprised about the fact that Neymar wants to return. The atmosphere here cannot be found everywhere. Some guys have come and gone; Cesc (Fábregas), Piqué...Neymar is a great player, but what surrounds the circumstances of his departure has to be valued if the claims about his return come true," the exec concluded.
