Police are set to investigate the Ashley Cole shooting incident which took place at Chelsea's Cobham training ground as Carlo Ancelotti goes under fire for the indiscipline that has crept into the dressing room.
According to reports, Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is said to have fired a rifle at a 21 year old teenager who was undergoing an internship with the London club. The teenager, Tom Cowan was treated by Chelsea's medical staff after being hit by a lead pellet.

The incident was kept undercover by Chelsea after they feared that it would ultimately tarnish their public reputation. However, numerous media organization and press publicized the incident and the Surrey police have now announced that they will now look into the incident.

A Surrey police spokesman said: "We can confirm that, while no direct allegation has been made to Surrey police, the matter has been brought to our attention through reports in the media, and we will be contacting the club in due course to establish whether any criminal offence has been committed."

While the police carry out their further investigation on the incident, question marks have been raised on Ancelotti's ability to control the indiscipline that has been going around the club for some time now.

According to reports, the Chelsea board had a meeting at the end of last week to discuss things and rumors are high that Ancelotti might get the sack if the club fails to finish in the top four this season. Guus Hiddink is already a popular figure among the players and Roman Abramovich might just be tempted to bring him back after a successful short tenure at the Bridge in 2009
