Jadon Sancho's rise in the Bundesliga continued on Sunday evening as he managed to land himself on the scoresheet against Bayern Leverkusen in sublime fashion. For the umpteenth time this season, the teenager has played an active role in ensuring that Borussia Dortmund maintained its lead atop the league table.

The 18-year-old winger secured his first major contribution in the game by setting up Dan-Axel Zagadou to score the opener in the 30th minutes. Bayern Leverkusen's Kevin Volland then registered the equalizer seven minutes later before a quick restart by the hosts led Sancho to grab his first goal of the game.

The 18-year-old England international flaunted his enviable technique by hitting a first-time volley following a cross from Abdou Diallo and, as a result, ensured that his side took the lead into halftime.
