Crystal Palace and Sheffield United will clash at Selhurst Park in a crucial relegation battle on Saturday.
Palace are two points and one place above the relegation zone, with the Blades directly below them, and able to leapfrog their opponents out of the drop zone with a win.

Relegation threatened Scunthorpe United will look to follow up on their shock midweek win over Nottingham Forest when they play host to Derby County.

It will be top against bottom at Deepdale as Preston North End face off against Queens Park Rangers. Preston are nine points adrift of safety after failing to win in 10 matches, while QPR are unbeaten in seven league games and hold a five point lead at the top of the table.

Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City will go head to head in a crucial promotion clash at the City Ground on Saturday. Cardiff are currently in second place, while Forest are two points and two places behind them.

Leeds United and Norwich City will meet in a promotion clash at Elland Road with both teams currently occupying the playoff spots. Norwich are one point behind second placed Cardiff City, while Leeds are two point behind them having lost only one of their last 18 league games.

Swansea City will continue their promotion challenge when they play host to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday. Swansea won 4-3 at Middlesbrough last time out and are only two points behind second placed Cardiff City.
 

Leicester City will continue their playoff push as they play host to Bristol City on Friday. In-form Leicester currently sit four points behind the playoff spots and will be looking for their fifth straight win, Bristol are six points above the relegation zone after winning only two of their last 11 games.





Miguel Vitor has recovered from injury and should return for Leicester, while midfielder Andy King King will play after scoring three goals in his last four games.





Bristol City captain Louis Carey will play after fearing he had broken his nose in last weekend’s defeat to Leeds United. Star striker Nicky Maynard could make his first start after a long injury layoff, while Jamal Campbell-Ryce should also return for the Robins.

Portsmouth will be looking to end a seven game winless streak at home when they play host to Barnsley on Saturday. Portsmouth are six points above the relegation zone, while Barnsley are a further six points above them.





Jonathan Hogg is suspended for Pompey, while captain Aaron Mokoena will return after having his work permit renewed. Swansea loanee David Cotterill could make his debut if his registration is completed on time.





Barnsley captain Stephen Foster is ruled out with a leg injury, and could be replaced by Paul McShane who looks set to make his debut for the Tykes.
