The Argentine legend is allegedly traveling to Mexico, where he will negotiate terms of his deal after leaving Dinamo Brest's board of execs.

Diego Maradona seems determined to prove he can coach a team, as reports from Argentina and Mexico have revealed that the legendary footballer is about to take the coaching job for Dorados de Sinaloa, a second-tier team.

Maradona's name emerged as an option after former boss Paco Ramíres was fired by the team's hierarchy, who also own Xolos de Tijuana in Mexico's top flight. Maradona's interest in joining the club could be linked to a possible job in Liga MX in the next few months, if he can steer Dorados back to winning ways.

Maradona was linked with Belarusian team Dinamo Brest, but he's willing to give up his spot in the team's board to get back to a job on the sidelines.  According to Marca Claro, the Argentine ace is "very eager" to coach again.

The second division of Mexico's football system is a rather unique category. 15 teams participate for a spot in the Mexican top flight, but only nine can make it to the Liga MX due to certification issues. Dorados is one of those nine teams, but they are currently ranked 13th in the competition, having won only three points after six games.
