The Portuguese ace is set to make his debut at Juventus Arena this week when the bianconeri host Lazio in Matchday 2 of the Serie A.

Cristiano Ronaldo's work ethic has been key to make his transition from Real Madrid to Juventus easier. At least that's what the player said in an interview with DAZN, where he discussed the major reasons why he chose to join La Vecchia Signora and how he has adapted to his new life in Turin.

The player hinted that "little details" such as the reaction from Juve fans to his bicycle kick played a key role in his decision to leave Los Blancos. Added to that, the Old Lady's interest to sign him made him "feel special".

"I wasn't expecting to make a move to play here, but things have their natural way of happening. They showed more interest than any other club in the world to sign me. They gave me the chance and I'm ready to make history here as well," Cristiano Ronaldo stated.

On the other hand, the footballer tried to offer an olive branch to Real Madrid's fans, since he still has fond memories of the team, the fans and the city despite his turbulent departure.

"What I did in Madrid was awesome. I won it all, and I have a lot of friends over there. Even my family still lives there. But things happen for a reason, and now I'm here," he added.

Back in Madrid, the footballer made a name for himself wearing Number 7. With Juan Cuadrado "owning" that number at Juventus, he referred to the Colombian player as a "nice guy" for letting him having without any questions asked.

"He told me 'I would be glad to give it to you, no problem'. I was amazed by the club's disposition and Cuadrado's availability to make the switch. Everything went down smoothly, and I'm happy because it's my favorite number," the player stated.

Before the interview concluded, CR7 admitted that he has learnt how to deal with pressure, up to the point where it motivates him to be under constant scrutiny.

"It's part of being CR7. Playing under pressure is positive, but you have to know how to handle it, because if you get too much responsibility, it can be overwhelming. It's not a problem for me, I know how to work under pressure," the footballer concluded.
