While Radja Nainggolan retired from the Belgian team, these players had a completely different reaction to their exclusion from Spain's list.

These players have to be praised for looking at the bright side of life.

Following their snub from the 2018 World Cup squad by coach Julen Lopetegui, Spanish Internationals Alvaro Morata and Marc Bartra showed there are no hard feelings against the coach or those who made the final cut, and hinted that they will be rooting for La Roja this summer.

The first player to react to his World Cup snub was Alvaro Morata. Following his disappointing first season at Chelsea, the former Real Madrid striker was dropped from the squad that will play in Russia. The footballer reacted in a classy way, wishing the team all the best for their World Cup adventure.

"Best of luck in the World Cup! Starting now, I'll be one more fan, supporting you until the end as always!"

Center back Marc Bartra didn't have it easier than his colleague, and even if he didn't earn a spot among the 23 travelers despite an excellent season with Betis, Bartra thanked all those who supported him and offered the same to his compatriots.

"I want to thank all of you for so many messages and gestures of affection in such a hard day for me. Best of luck to all of my team-mates"

Morata and Bartra weren't the only big names left out of the Spanish squad playing in Russia. Cesc Fabregas, Pedro Rodriguez and Marcos Alonso were among those who got snubbed from playing for La Roja this summer.
