Fears of a serious injury to the Portugueses ace's right ankle were put to rest today, according to Zinedine Zidane's quotes.

With the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League final on his mind, Cristiano Ronaldo erased all doubts about his availability for the crucial match, as he returned today to Real Madrid's training grounds.

The Portuguese ace did not join the entire group that will face Sevilla on Wednesday, but his coach hinted that he might be ready to play next week, when Los Blancos end their run in La Liga against Villarreal.

"Cristiano is not having any problems to walk. It's amazing that he doesn't need any help to do it after 48 hours, that shows us his ambition. He could be available for the match against Villarreal next week, it would be great to have everyone available for our final league match,"Zidane stated.

Zidane also offered an update on other injury concerns for Los Blancos, including Dani Carvajal and Isco.

"Isco is OK, and Carvajal is just days away from being available. His recovery is going on well, phisically he's perfect. All of them, including Cristiano, will be 150% fit for the UEFA Champions League final.

Real Madrid has a chance to finish La Liga in second place, since they have one more game to play than Atlético Madrid. Their first remaining game will be against Sevilla, followed by a home game against Celta, and their final trip of the domestic season to Villarreal's turf.
