Norwich City will continue their push for promotion when they travel to face relegation threatened Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Norwich are tied on points with second placed Cardiff City, and will be looking for a win that will see them climb into the automatic promotion spots. Palace will be looking for points that will help them escape the relegation zone.

Scunthorpe United and Preston North End are the other two teams in the drop zone, and will go head to head in a vital relegation battle at Glanford Park on Saturday.

League leaders Queens Park Rangers will also be in action, and could increase their five point lead at the top of the table with a win at Hull City.

Millwall are six points behind the playoff spots, and will be looking to close the gap with their fifth straight home win in Championship play. Barnsley will be looking to follow up on the 2-0 win they produced at Doncaster Rovers last time out.

Forest currently occupy the playoff zone, and are four points behind Cardiff City in the automatic promotion spots. Forest will also be looking to extend an unbeaten home run that spans 32 regular season league games. Bristol will be looking for their first win in five games.

Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley will meet at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night. Both teams are firmly in mid-table and will be looking for three points to move up the standings and end relatively poor runs of form.

Eddie Howe will return to Portsmouth looking for his first win as Burnley manager. Howe used to be a player at Fratton Park, but will be looking to disappoint the home fans by stealing three points with the Clarets.

Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle is an injury doubt, and will receive a late fitness test ahead of kickoff.



Sixth place Nottingham Forest will be looking to solidify their playoff push when they play host to Bristol City. Forest are four points behind second placed Cardiff City, while Bristol are six points above the drop zone.





Forest will be looking to extend a six game winning streak in all competitions, while Bristol will be looking for their first win in five games.





Forest captain Paul McKenna could make his return from injury for Forest. McKenna was an unused substitute last week.





Bristol will be without striker Jon Stead, while Tottenham loanee Danny Rose and Lewin Nyantange are also sidelined for the Robins.



Doncaster Rovers will play host to Barnsley with both teams mired on mid-table after poor runs of form. Doncater are on a five game winless streak in all competitions, while Barnsley have won only one of their last seven games.





Joe Mills will be sidelined with a shin injury for Doncaster, while Martin Woods is ruled out with a groin problem.





The Barnsley defense could receive a huge boost with the return of injured duo Stephen Foster and Jason Shackell.

Millwall could hand a debut to Craig Eastmond, who joined the club this week on loan from Arsenal.





Barnsley will be without defender Stephen Foster, who suffered a shin injury during the win at Doncaster.



Struggling Scunthorpe United will be looking to turn around their poor form when they enter a relegation battle with rock bottom Preston North End. Preston are bottom of the table and six points adrift of safety, while Preston are only one place and three points above them.





Scunthorpe are winless in their last five games in all competitions, and have conceded 14 goals during that run. Preston are winless in six games, but have battled to 1-1 draws in their first two games under new manager Phil Brown.





Goalkeeper Joe Murphy is sidelined with injury for Scunthorpe, while Cliff Byrne and Rob Jones are hoping to recover in time to play. David Mirfin is healthy again and will return to the Iron defense.


Striker Lee Miller could make his debut for Scunthorpe, after joining the club this week on loan from Middlesbrough.





Leon Cort will continue in the Preston defense after extending his loan from Burnley until the end of the season. Striker Leon Clarke could feature in the Preston attack after joining on loan from Queens Park Rangers, Blackburn loanee Amine Linganzi will miss the game with a groin injury.






Queens Park Rangers will be looking to increase their five point lead at the top of the table when they travel to face Hull City. Hull will be looking for a win to shrink the eight point gap between themselves and the playoff spots. Both teams will enter the game unbeaten in their last three league games.





Brad Guzan will continue in goal for Hull after extending his loan from Aston Villa until the end of February. Tunisian international will be included in the squad after joining the club this week from Slavia Prague.





Tigers defender Andy Dawson is doubtful with a groin injury and will be assessed ahead of kickoff. Jimmy Bullard will not play after leaving the club to join Ipswich Town on loan, while Kamil Zayatte has signed for Konyaspor.





Defender Danny Shittu rejoined QPR this week but will not be fit for this game. Strikers Heidar Helguson and Ishmael Miller are both doubtful, and will receive late fitness tests to see if they are ready to play.



Crystal Palace will play host to Norwich City in a game where one streak could end. Palace are unbeaten in six home games, while Norwich are unbeaten in six away fixtures, and have the best road record in the division.
