Speaking ahead of their Champions League clash with Sevilla, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho issued a warning to the reigning European champion. He cautioned Zidane and Co. to not waste their time on De Gea and advised them to look elsewhere in their search for a new custodian.
Speaking to La Sexta (as per Marca), the Special One said: “I think he will stay.
"I don't know what Real Madrid's intentions are, but if I were them, I would think of another player."
The 27-year-old has been instrumental to Man United this season. His quick reflex has bailed the Premier League outfit several times, as seen in the first-leg meeting with Sevilla.
The Spaniard made a number of fine saves to keep the game 0-0, handing Mourinho’s side the advantage ahead of the return leg. Man United now needs only to win by a single goal to advance to the quarter-final.
