The Uruguayan ace has grown tired of living under the shadow of the Brazilian player despite being the team's all-time top scorer.

The aftermath of PSG's elimination has already started to make ripples inside the team's locker room and the first player who wants out of Les Parisiens is none other than Edinson Cavani.

According to a report by Le Parisien, Cavani is fed up with the way things have been going on since Neymar's arrival last summer. Cavani doesn't feel the appreciation from neither his boss nor the team's owners, even if he's still the club's top scorer after Neymar joined them. With that in mind, he will ask the team's hierarchy for a transfer.

Both players haven't shown signs of trying to get along well, especially after their highly-publicized battle to take penalty kicks. Coach Unai Emery was behind Cavani in the earlier days of the season, but the newspaper also claims that the relationship between them isn't as great as it used to be, prompting Cavani to ask for a transfer.

Reports from France suggest that Cavani and Neymar never got along well both on and away from the pitch.

Cavani's desire to leave would be welcomed by PSG's hierarchy, as he's been deemed by some as the weakest link in the MCN attack, which also includes Kylian Mbappé. European teams had previously been interested in the Uruguayan's services, and it wouldn't be a surprise if it happened again.
