The Belgian shot-stopper spoke to a radio station in his country where he expressed his concern over the Italian boss' calls.

Thibaut Courtois didn't help to calm rumors about a possible departure to Real Madrid, as he had some not-so-kind words for some of his coach's decisions against Manchester United.

Speaking to Belgian radio station Play Sports, the shot-stopper showed his discomfort over Eden Hazard's exit from the game against the Red Devils, which came two minutes before Jesse Lingard scored what would be the game-winning goal.

"I have no explanation for the substitution of Hazard. I did not expect it, but it’s the manager’s choice. He’ll explain it. I can’t look into his head," Courtois stated.

The Belgian ace didn't hold back and admitted that the team struggled to bounce back without Hazard.

"Of course you want players like Eden to have 90 minutes on the pitch. He can always bring something extra," the goalkeeper added.

Courtois' timing couldn't have been worse, as contract talks between himself and the club were delayed until further notice. Chelsea's hieararchy wants Courtois to focus on the UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona and their FA Cup tie against Leicester City. With that in mind, the window is still open for him to leave the club.

Chelsea has offered Courtois more than $276,000 weekly wage to keep him around, but the player's desire to be closer to his family could play a key role in his decision to snub the Blues to join Los Blancos.
