AC Milan have showed interest in signing star midfielder Mark Van Bommel. The Netherlands international is currently under contract at Bayern Munich.
AC Milan are said to be looking for an experienced midfielder to complete their complex squad, and Bayern’s Van Bommel apparently appears as the right man to fill in the Italians’ gap. His contract ends at the end of this season, but there have officially been no talks between members of both clubs.
Milan recently signed playmakers Robinho from Manchester City and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from FC Barcelona; and this time, they are up to something new. With FC Hollywood seemingly ready to do all they can to land Van Bommel in their club this summer, the Rossoneri are likely to act fast so as to take their chance.
It is not known yet if the player will accept the offer from Milan, but should Bayern Munich give him the green light to leave Germany, then he might fancy a move to the San Siro. If he does, then other Serie A giants will need to watch out for Massimiliano Allegri’s team, as his army could become invincible.
