At long last, Cristiano Ronaldo will have a statue he'll feel proud of.
During this weekend, team legend Emilio Butragueño and sculptor José Antonio Navarro unveiled a new bust paying tribute to CR7, which will be seen by all fans that take the tour at Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Contrary to what happened back in March, the player's statue holds a striking resemblance. Have a look at both of them and decide which one's better.
In a statement by the sculpture's author, the idea was first pitched to him by his son.
"I used several pictures of him to get it done. I wanted to reflect the his strength when he's getting ready to take a free kick or a penalty," Navarro stated.
