It wasn't pretty, but Cristiano Ronaldo finally scored a goal at home in the 2017-18 La Liga season.
The Portuguese striker gave Real Madrid three points against Málaga, even if he missed a penalty kick in the process. Karim Benzema and Casemiro also scored for Los Blancos, but those leads were cancelled by Diego Rolan and Chory Castro.
Ronaldo had only been able to score against Getafe, making today's goal his second goal of the competition. As of now, he stands ten goals away from Lionel Messi, the current Pichichi leader.
But why was this goal special for CR7, besides helping him to erase his goal scoring hoodoo? Have a look.
