The Uruguayan striker took advantage of two mistakes by Leganes' goalie to end a drought of more than 470 minutes.

After five long games, Luis Suárez finally had his day in front of goal.

The Uruguayan striker ended a 478-minute streak without a goal to lead the way for Barcelona in their visit to Leganés. With this win, Los Blaugranas have only dropped two points and possess a seven-point lead over second-placed Valencia.

Suárez reached the 90-goal mark in La Liga with Los Blaugranas, and now needs one more goal to enter the team's all-time top ten scoring list in all competitions.

The player also ended a drought without a brace that extended for almost seven months. His last La Liga brace came during a match against Espanyol on April 29.
