Team news

After a disappointing draw in the Champions League, Barcelona is eager to return to winning ways. The Blaugrana shifts focus back to the league, hosting fifth-placed Sevilla in Matchday 11.

The host enjoys a four-point lead over second-placed Valencia and an eight-point lead over defending champions Real Madrid. Unfortunately, a growing injury list could hamper their title push.

Ousmane Dembele, Rafinha, Arda Turan, and Aleix Vidal were already set to miss out on this fixture. They have now been joined by Andre Gomes and Sergi Roberto who picked up injuries in the goalless draw with Olympiacos.

Luckily for the host, Andres Iniesta has returned. The captain trained with the squad on Friday and is thus available for selection in Saturday’s game.

The away side will be without a key player in the form of Gaby Mercado, as the defender has been ruled out with an injury. Fortunately, Éver Banega and Pablo Sarabia are both fully fit.
