The fastest goal of the UEFA Champions League season wasn't scored by Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. That honor will belong to Stephan El Shaarawy after a stunning golazo against Chelsea.
The Italian striker put to good use a loose ball outside The Blues' box by striking it furiously into the top right hand corner of Thibaut Courtois' net.
El Shaarawy's goal wasn't only the fastest goal of this UCL season, as it managed to beat the fastest goals scored in nearly three years.
"El Shaarawy's goal (38 seconds) is the fastest goal scored in the UCL since Nov 26, 2013 (Wilshere, 27 seconds).
