Los Blancos have been excellent when on the road, but the hosts have proven to be tough to break down on occasions when playing at home.
Unfortunately for Zidane’s men, the defending champions will be without a few key players. Gareth Bale is one, as the Welshman is not yet fit for Sunday’s game. He joins Mateo Kovacic on the sidelines.
Elsewhere, Keylor Navas is likely to sit this one out due to an injury he picked up during the international break. Furthermore, Dani Carvajal remains out of the picture due to his heart issue.
Jose Raymundo Luis Suarez is injured and will thus not feature for Girona, whilst Pedro Alcalá is a doubt. The hosts are likely to go with an identical starting eleven to the one that lost to Levante.
