The Spanish defender left no stone unturned when speaking about what to expect this Wednesday in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup.

Luis Suárez controversial antics were one of the subjects during Real Madrid's press conference prior to the second Clásico of the season.

While Los Blancos' boss Zinedine Zidane dribbled the question about Suárez's alleged dive that resulted in a PK for Barcelona, right back Dani Carvajal stepped up and demanded a punishment for those who want to mock the ref with such actions.

"He's a great striker, and he knows how to take advantage of every time you touch him, considering the intensity of these type of games. I can't judge his actions, I leave it up to the refs and the Discipline Committee, they should look into punishing those who dive looking to have a PK awarded to them," Carvajal stated.

The player went even further and explained why actions should be taken to erradicate diving from football.

"Sometimes, those actions end up deciding the outcome of a match or the winner of a title, and it's weird to have a team losing either one of those due to a mistake," Carvajal added.

This is not the first time in which a dive by Suárez is harshly criticized.

The homegrown defender also shared his thoughts on CR7's five-match ban, which will deprive him from playing the 2nd leg of this matchup.

"It's frustrating, because he gets sent off after doing nothing wrong. He's upset, and all the guys in the squad support him. I just hope he can get some of those games expunged," the footballer concluded.
