The Portuguese striker will have his day in front of a judge over the tax fraud allegations against him for his irregular tax activity from 2011 to 2014.

No one expected to see that in their lifetime, but after weeks of speculation, Cristiano Ronaldo's date with the Spanish tax authorities has been set.

According to information published by El Confidencial, the Portuguese superstar will face the Judge from Pozuelo de Alarcón on July 31, with his estimated time to appear being at 11:00 CEST.

The report, which has been also echoed by Marca, admits that Judge Laura Gómez Ferrer saw signs of "criminal behaviour" in CR7's dealings with the Spanish IRS, prompting the decision to have the former Manchester United player appear in court.

Cristiano Ronaldo is facing charges for failing to declare €14.7 million in taxes coming from his image rights, which he failed to pay from 2011 to 2014.
