According to recent reports, Barca now have to worry about Neymar’s future on top of Lionel Messi’s contract extension. There are claims that the Brazilian ace has threatened to leave the Spanish giants after being involved in a row with the club’s assistant manager.
His row with Juan Carlos Unzue, could prove problematic as Luis Enrique’s right-hand man is a huge candidate to become manager once the seat is vacated this summer. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Selecao ace said "if he stays, I'm leaving" in the wake of their clash.
The Spanish newspaper claims Unzue is not a fan of Neymar’s party lifestyle, warning the 25-year-old to focus on his football or risk ruining a very promising career. The assistant manager used former Blaugrana superstar as an example of a talented career gone wrong, something which Neymar did not appreciate.
The former Santos ace might find leaving Camp Nou difficult, due to his excellent MSN partnership and his long-term contract with the Catalan giants. However, if he decides to leave, several clubs will line up to land his signature.
Man United would be on that list, given their previous attempts to lure the Selecao ace to Old Trafford. PSG are also constantly linked with the Braziliand and would spend big to land the attacker.
