Team news

Real Madrid gets to this game in high spirits after beating Bayern Munich in a thrilling UEFA Champions League matchup that needed extra time to see a team go through. Coach Zinedine Zidane will hope that fatigue is not an issue on Sunday, as he will have to start with almost the same team that faced Die Roten. Pepe and Raphael Varane are out due to injury, while Gareth Bale seems to hav recovered from a calf injury, which will clear him to play on Sunday.

On the other side, things at Can Barça are more complicated than initially expected. Los Blaugranas weren't able to overturn a three-goal deficit against Juventus, earning an early exit from the UEFA Champions League for the second year in a row. Barcelona can't allow their title chances to slip away, and in order to keep them alive, they'll have to beat Real Madrid without Arda Turan, Aleix Vidal, Rafinha and Neymar, who's appeal is yet to be heard by the Court of Arbitrage in Sports (CAS).
