He may have gone one more game without scoring, but that does not mean that Cristiano Ronaldo is not a team player.
The Portuguese ace led the way for Real Madrid against Athletic Club by providing assists for Los Blancos' goals at San Mamés. Ronaldo dished out passes for Karim Benzema and Casemiro, which were good enough to outscore the hosts, who had equalized thanks to a header by Aritz Aduriz.
Known for his desire to excel, the player seems to be at ease with his role inside the team, as these stats clearly reveal.

Those numbers support the idea about CR7 also being able to contribute to his team ever since he signed for Los Blancos almost eight years ago.

Coach Zinedine Zidane decided to substitute him with ten minutes left in the game, and the Portuguese ace seemed to be OK with it, contrary to his rants from earlier this season.
